The lotus Flower is regarded often as a symbol of sacred purity, rebirth, and strength.

The lotus flower is a beautiful flower that can be found all over the world. However, the start of this flowers life is not as beautiful is one might image. It is born underneath the surface, surrounded by mud, opaque water, simply rough conditions. Regardless of these conditions, the lotus flower maintains strength, and pushes aside each of these dirty obstacles as it makes its way to clearer surfaces. The stem continues to grow, and the pod slowly surfaces above the water, into the clean air, finally freeing itself from the harsh life conditions below. It is then that the lotus slowly opens each beautiful petal to the sun, basking in the worldly beauty surrounding it. The lotus flower is ready to take on the world. Despite being born into dark, murky conditions, where hope for such beautiful life seems dubious, the lotus grows, rises above adversity. Symbolically, this same dirty water washes it clean as it surfaces. As the lotus opens each petal to the air, not a stain or spot of mud remains externally. The inner lotus too, has never seen a drop of mud or dirty water. It is pure, and bright, and beautiful.

Like the lotus flower "My Stellar Compass" was created progressively in a series of personal and professional experiences. It began with my own life experience; being born and raised in such contrast of darkness and light, in a context where I had to learn to discover my voice and the power within to inform, to express, to transform and to grow.

I became a speech language pathologist on a mission to help others find and/or regain their voice, their full potential to connect to communicate. All this initially following clinical guidelines. As time progressed, I found myself immerse in not only helping the individual with those clinical tools but also I started learning and implementing a more holistic approach. At first my own life became the lab for trial, error, growth. I finally understood that our life is not one size fits all, we all have a different make up, different set of gifts and an individual path of unlocking our own inner powers.

Holistic nutrition coaching, family constellation in astrology, herbalism, Emotional Freedom Technique also known as "tapping", are some of the tools I have access to for creating an individual program that will have a ripple effect in the collective.
